Motorola Atrix 2 launched in back 2011. The smartphone comes with 1GB RAM, dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor as well as a PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Though it comes with very good configuration, you can only update it to Android 4.0.4 ICS officially. However, you can always update your device to latest OS such as Android 4.4.4 KitKat via a custom ROM. A custom ROM require a custom recovery. Due to locked bootloader issue in Motorola Atrix 2 installing regular custom recovery such as CWM recovery or TWRP recovery through isn’t possible. We have to find alternate solution such as BMM. The latest BMM aka Boot Menu Manager comes with CWM recovery, that mean you can flash various custom ROMs. You may find various custom ROM for Motorola Atrix 2 at PrimeHowTo. All those ROMs can be flashed through BMM unless anything mentioned otherwise. As I said earlier Motorola Atrix 2 for now can only be updated to ICS officially, hence custom ROMs are only option to try out latest Android OS.
So, BMM is a very important app to have on your Motorola Atrix 2. Just like SafeStrap app which mostly used in Motorola device, you need little knowledge before you start using this tool to flash ROMs and other utility.
